The best Black Friday deal this year is still to come...

Whilst your inbox might be full of discounts and bargain offers from last Friday, we’re willing to bet that not many offered to double your money.

But tomorrow, we can do just that - because on 28th November, it’s Giving Tuesday – a global day of generosity held to counteract the excesses of Black Friday.

Thanks to a number of generous donors, donations to Transform Trade will be DOUBLED for just 24 hours - meaning your money will impact twice as many farmers, workers and artisans fighting for a fairer trade system.

This Christmas, we’re standing with fashion’s unseen workers - supporting them as they demand a a fair deal, such as sick pay, maternity leave, and basic health and safety accommodations.

By making a donation tomorrow, you’ll help support twice as many homeworkers standing up against injustice in the fashion industry. You can read more about the appeal and view their stories here.

There are an estimated 12 million homeworkers in South Asia involved in the fashion supply chain - and many earn as little as 80p per day. They’re paid by the piece, and their work goes unrecognised by the high street brands who profit from their labour.

Meanwhile, the average person in the UK spends £73.90 on party clothes for the festive period, and one in five admit that they won’t wear the same outfit to more than one event, according to a 2019 survey. Giving Tuesday is your chance to reject the empty consumerism of Black Friday and do something better – demand a better way of doing trade.

We’ll email the donation link out tomorrow - so keep an eye on your inbox.
