Power to Producers
A direct giving catalogue 2026
We asked the producers we work with what they needed to maximise their positive impact in 2026. Their answers provide a series of remarkable ways to make the world better and fairer - by giving directly.
The Power to Producers catalogue is now closed to donations - and we have been astonished by the remarkable generosity of our supporters.
The impact of the first Power to Producers catalogue:
-

items purchased
Out of a total 67 items listed in the Power to Producers catalogue.
-

total raised
Donations to the catalogue outstripped our expectations.
-

people impacted
Once in place, the items purchased from the catalogue will benefit tens of thousands of people.
“When the seeds are in the seed bank, they’re safe… and that makes a big difference during sowing time.”
In the past, we’ve supported the Pahariya Farmer Producer Company in India to set up community seedbanks - protecting their harvests for years to come.
This year, all 10 seedbanks from the Power to Producers catalogue sold. They’ll be set up by 10 farmer associations in Mymensingh & Sherpur districts, Bangladesh.
Here are the sold items from the Power to Producers catalogue we’ll be fulfilling in the coming months:
“The challenges that we encounter as smallholder tea farmers include the cold weather that is causing high cases of arthritis among farmers. Greenleaf harvesting is an all-year job. ”
Many tea farmers in Nyeri, Kenya lack adequate protective clothing, especially during the cold season. A generous supporter purchased £6000 of sewing machines and starter materials from the Power to Producers catalogue, which will be used to produce protective clothing for approximately 3000 farmers - improving working conditions and safety for those harvesting outdoors in all weather conditions.
Avocado Society of Tanzania
Agricultural Officers at the Avocado Society of Tanzania offer vital training and support for thousands of remote avocado farmers. These motorbikes are essential to reaching the most rural farmers with around 10,000 people set to benefit from this purchase.
