By challenging laws and policies which enable the exploitation of people across the world and harm the planet we all rely on, together, we can build a fairer and more equitable trade system.

We carry out research into trade, investment and business practices and learn from the people experiencing injustice in trade.
We speak truth to those with the power to make a difference: in meetings, through expert reports and in the media.
We work with movements in the Global South and our network of passionate supporters to campaign for change.

People-centred trade rules

We’re calling for international trade and investment rules which enable governments to create policies to prevent exploitation and environmental damage, and benefit small producers and farmers.
Human rights in business

Many UK businesses are making decisions which destroy people’s lives and wreck the environment. We need new laws that hold businesses to account.
People-centred supply chains

To ensure every person in supply chains is treated fairly and paid a decent wage for their work, we need transparency in supply chains and to curb unfair practices.
